New Primitive Dolls, Melting Tarts & Soap added Today!

February Blessings Everyone! This is one of my favorite months! My website keeps me so busy that I've been neglecting my Etsy, so I've put a couple of fresh items on there today! Please stop by for a look! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20584906

I like to name my primitive dolls and ornies after important people in my life that are still with us and some that have passed and I usually include a story about them on my website http://www.primcrowstudio.com/. It allows me to honor them and feel closer to them as well.

I just finished this Valentines Day Angel doll. Her name is Angel Jocelyn, after my daughter. Shes really sweet and has lots of details! I made this doll using a Peddler Hill Primitives pattern!

New website postings also include a new soap, melting tarts and lotion packaging! Please stop by soon!
Prim Blessings to Everyone!

Store Bought Soap Versus Prim Crow Studio Soap

You just bought another hard bar from Wally World made with some really nasty, yucky chemicals. Sure it smells nice and lathers up real nice too, but how does your skin feel. Does it feel hard and dry like the dessert soil? Where was that bar made and by whom? How do you pronounce the ingredients list and have you ever researched how those ingredients actually benefit your skin? How long did that hard bar lay around in that dark foreign factory loaded with who-knows-what crawling around? Eeeewww…….

Well, you don’t have to buy their soap. You have many choices like our primitive hot-processed soap for instance. It is hand-made fresh with natural ingredients such as goat’s milk, home-grown herbs, chamomile, yogurt, brown sugar, honey, ground oatmeal and we always add Vitamin E to each and every bar. Goat’s Milk is extremely moisturizing, while brown sugar and cinnamon are exfoliates. They say that Vitamin E works as an antioxidant by neutralizing free radicals in the body that cause tissue and cellular damage, but I find that it simply heals wounds nicely. I can’t say enough about oatmeal. I’ve used it many years for its soothing effects on my sensitive rash-prone skin. Herbs add such an organic beauty to the bar and depending on the herbs used, they provide us with nature’s best medicine.

When you Prim Crow Studio soap, we guarantee that your skin will be soft and silky, unlike the commercial stuff that dehydrates your skin and causes premature wrinkling. Each bar is so creamy and decadent and you’ll just feel good using something that actually benefits your skin and body. So, why buy the harsh stuff from the commercial retail stores? It can’t be the price, because we’ve got them beat there. Maybe its convenience? Well, what can be more convenient then sitting back in your fuzzy slippers and ordering from our online store?

Now onto those cheap wax candles that have no smell and only 1 wick no matter how large they are...

You don’t have to buy those either. We pride ourselves in providing you with the benefits of natural wax products too. We hand-pour each candle and tart using the very best waxes such as soy, palm and beeswax. Here are the benefits of natural waxes:
Beeswax is made by honey bees from the nectar of flowers. It has a sweet, natural fragrance and a beautiful yellow color all its own. It also burns longer and cleaner than other waxes. When you purchase our beeswax candles and tarts, you are receiving a top-quality product, as well as, supporting apothecaries.
Soy Wax is safe for children and pets. Its made from soybeans, which is a renewable source. Buying soybean products aids economic growth for the agricultural sector of the US economy. Soy wax is a clean burning wax and its easily cleaned up with soap and water.
Palm Wax is a renewable source since it is made from the palm plant. It is a natural vegetable wax that is safe for the environment and you. When you purchase our palm wax candles and tarts you are supporting the farmers who grow palm.

If your purchasing products from a retail store you are most likely using your hard-earned money on products not made with high quality ingredients and/or renewable sources. Plus buying products from local craftsmen and craftswomen supports your local economy, which we need now, more then ever. If we all ban together, we can change the way commercial retailers are using up the Earth-by using Us.

Buy Home-Grown!
